Crafty Counter, a leading foodservice provider, has announced the availability of WunderEggs, vegan hard-boiled eggs halves, to restaurants via WebstaurantStore. Hema Reddy shared the news that marks a significant milestone for the Austin based women-owned and BIPOC company. WunderEggs are now available on restaurant menus across the country.
Reddy comments, “We have been fortunate to see so many operators buying them either online on our website or in stores and adding them to their menus already. As an emerging brand, it’s surreal to see all the tags and mentions from restaurants & operators with their menu additions.”
Crafty Counter’s WunderEggs originally launched in 2021 as the “first-ever” ready-to-eat vegan boiled eggs. These egg-alternatives are made from cashews and almonds with coconut milk and agar-agar. They also contain black salt and turmeric extract. The products are non-GMO and gluten-free. They use whole-food ingredients, which appeals to vegans as well health-conscious customers looking for clean label options.
