We were lucky to visit many charming creperies in Europe during our time there, particularly on our trips to France. There is nothing better than a freshly made, paper-thin crepe with lacy edges. In their simplicity, they are elegant and delicious. The perfect blank canvas for your favorite sweet and savory fillings.

They are also surprisingly easy for you to make. Seven pantry staples, along with whatever fillings are appealing, will transform your kitchen into a little French café in no time. You can make crepe batter with a whisk or a bowl if you like. I prefer to use a blender to make my crepes, as I find it the easiest method.
