
H!P, a British brand of plant-based chocolate (Happiness!n Plants), has introduced a new bar: the Crunchy Chocolate Orange.
The bar was developed in response to consumer demands. It combines a chocolate based on oats with natural orange flavoring and crunchy waffle con pieces. The cocoa that is used comes from Colombia and is a single-origin.

Sold in plastic-free packaging, H!P’s products are said to have a 50% lower carbon footprint than conventional milk chocolate. They are described as “a firm favourite with Gen Zers and millennials”.

Earlier this year, H!P launched three new bite-size chocolates in sharing pouches — Caramel Crunch Peanuts, Peanut Butter Truffle Bites, and Chocolate Buttons. Also included in the line are bars in the flavours Cookies No Cream (no cream), Salty Pretzel (no pretzels), and Salted Honeycomb.
H!P was founded by James Cadbury, the great-great-great-grandson of the founder of multinational chocolate brand Cadbury. In January, the entrepreneur raised £4.25 million from investor Richard Koch, announcing that the funding would be used to expand H!P and his luxury chocolate brand Love Cocoa.
